Olivia Lewis is a dynamic soprano with a diverse musical background that includes choral music and opera. She began her musical journey singing with the Bath Abbey Girls’ Choir from the age of 10, where she developed a strong foundation in choral singing. This early experience laid the groundwork for her future pursuits in vocal performance.

Olivia completed her MA degree at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance under the distinguished tutelage of international mezzo-soprano, Sarah Pring. Olivia also continues to study privately with Professor Susan McCulloch – highly sought-after accredited vocal professor with considerable experience of vocal teaching and international singing performance at the very highest level.

Her journey in opera began with evening classes at Morley College Opera School, from which she progressed to become a Rossini Young Artist at the 2016 Rossini Young Artist Festival. Over the years, Olivia has collaborated with several esteemed companies, including Swap’RA, Opera Anywhere, St Paul’s Opera, Opera Brava, Opera In The Meantime, Scherzo and Lunchbreak Opera. Her versatility and dedication have been evident in these diverse engagements.

Recently, Olivia’s notable projects have showcased her range and talent. She sang the role of Despina in Opera Kipling’s Love Island-inspired production of “Cosi Fan Tutte” at the Edinburgh Fringe, received acclaim for her portrayal of Berta in Rossini’s “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” with Scherzo Ensemble, and captivated audiences while touring with “A Viennese Strauss Gala” throughout the UK and Ireland in 2019, performing alongside contemporaries from Welsh National Opera (WNO) and Opéra National Maria Biesu.

Currently, Olivia primarily performs at private functions and events. She particularly enjoys singing in care homes, where she finds immense joy in bringing happiness and comfort to the residents through her music. Olivia’s ability to connect with her audience and her passion for sharing the beauty of opera in intimate settings make her a cherished performer in various communities.
